Tell Your Story

What to expect from your floral designer when it comes to design elements

Smile

Your floral designer

that you plan on doing business with should be able to work with props. A floral designer who has an abundance of props, stands, and vases is the one that you should be working with.

Sometimes the floral designer will have an inventory of napkins, tablecloths, and over lays for the reception tables.

Lighting should be left to your floral designer

Sometime the floral designer will need to bring in the expertise of a lighting company. Great drama can be added to a late summer wedding and reception for elegant interiror design There are some florists who will add baby fresnels or pin spots that can be shined upon on each table arrangement and even your wedding cake.

Another highlight that a good florist should be able to work with is fabric

The fabrics of a similar hue or shade of your wedding attendants dresses and flowers could be draped on walls or along banisters or stairways as accents.

Fabric can be draped over tables. Tulle and a shiny , inexpensive fabric interspersed with strings of white light and draped on the pews and down the center aisles can add splendor to a candlelight wedding ceremony.

Make sure before you settle with your florist that she will be able to add design elements to your wedding to create the style that you want before setting with that particular florist.
