Luscious Caramel Apple Cake

1 pkg. regular yellow cake mix not the one with added pudding

1 pkg. 3.4 oz.Vanilla or French Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

1 cup water

4 eggs

1/3 cup melted butter

3 Granny Smith apples 1 lb., peeled, coarsely chopped

20 Caramels

4 Tbsp. milk

Now heat your oven to 350ºF

Next grease and flour 2 cake pans.

Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl with mixer on low speed until blended. Next beat on high speed 2 min. Stir in apples and pour into prepared pans.

You will need to bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans 20 minutes.

Loosen the cakes from the side of pans and invert onto wire rack. Next gently remove pans. Cool the cakes completely and transfer to plate.

Now Microwave the caramels and milk in a microwaveable bowl on high from 1to 1/2 minute while stirring every 30 seconds until blended. Cool 10 min. or until slightly thickened. Drizzle over cake.
